MySMIS - a new system which allows remote interaction, using qualified digital certificates issued by DigiSign

Starting with March, this year, a new informatic system will allow interaction, safely, with minimum effort and consumption of resources, between beneficiaries and authorities, and only just behind computer using eletronic forms of documents necessary to access funds. This system is "MySMIS", belongs to Ministry of European Funds, and is designed for companies and individuals wishing to access European funds, to grow their businesses.

Within the system, both users authentication in the system and guaranteeing authenticity of documents submitted, will be provided by advanced electronic signatures created with DigiSign qualified digital certificates.

The procedure for obtaining and use DigiSign digital certificates remains unchanged but don't hesitate to contact our   technical suport services, that are at your disposal 24/7.

Information Security - Superior Protection Mecanisms

DigiSign aligns the technologies in accordance with international recommendations.

DigiSign Certification Authorities comes with a new hierarchy of ROOT and Intermediate, certificate using exclusive SHA256RSAalgorithm. The new standard used generates a longer string of characters, with 64, this one produces a digest with a length of 256 bytes pentru for the same input.

Starting 1 February 2016, DigiSign will issue all the certificates under the mentioned new authorities, using the SHA256 hash algorithm.

 
 

IMPORTANT

  • when registration the certificates used in relationship with the National Health Insurance House, please note that you have to notify that you want the new certificate registered under the new DigiSign - authority registered from 1 september 2015;
  • if you submit physical forms to National Health Insurance House offices, we recommend you to specify on the printed form the certificate authority under which you want the recording of the certificate to be made (DigiSign - authority registered from 1 September 2015);
  • If you apply for registration by email, please specify in the email the certificate authority under which you want the recording of the certificate to be made (DigiSign - authority registered from 1 September 2015).
